GLORIES POWELL MINISTRIES accept the following as the fundamental basis of belief:

 

We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, the infallible Word of God, and that the Bible is the only God-given authority that man possesses; therefore, all doctrine, faith, hope, and all instructions for the Believer must be based upon, and in harmony with the Bible.

 

We believe in the eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as ONE God existing in three manifestations: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; INDIVISIBLE. (Matthew 28: 19;  2Corinthians 13:14)

 

We believe sinners are saved by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and FINISHED work of CHRIST by His death, burial, and His resurrection from the dead.

 

We believe in water baptism by immersion, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, therefore fulfilling the command of Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:34-39, 10:47-48, 19:1-6; Luke 24:37)

 

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit subsequent to salvation with the scriptural evidence of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:1-4, 4:14-17, 10:44-46; Gal 3:14)

 

We believe that we are a Chosen Generation, a Royal Priesthood, a Holy Nation, a Peculiar People; and that we are citizens of the Kingdom of God who has been called out of darkness into His marvelous light!

 

We believe that the Biblical form of Kingdom government is theocratic. Our leaders are ordained by confirmation of the Holy Spirit. Our Bishop operates in Apostolic authority and is qualified by the call of God, by a consecrated life, with Godly character and the ability to rule.
